Simple DIY Favors-Marry Me Monday

Favors for weddings guests don't have to be complicated, nor expensive. They can double as guests' place cards for the reception or they can be placed in a grouping on a table near the exit. Below are some very easy ideas and the trick to making them look great is how you display them.

What better treat than a small bag of cherries for guests? This would be perfect if your getting married in the summer, red is a prominent color within your color scheme and/or your setting is in the country side or outdoors.

Like to bake? Why not make up some special treats and display them in pretty glass jars. Wrap the jars with paper or ribbon that match your color scheme and offer small treat bags for guests to place their goodies to take home.

Have a green thumb? By forcing these bulbs, these pretty favors double as place settings and can be long enjoyed by your guests after the wedding.

If you're not into growing the bulbs yourself, try wrapping the bulbs that guests can plant themselves when they get home.

You can see all of these favor ideas at Martha Stewart as well as some other great wedding DIY projects.

Let the celebration begin!
